NRF Welcomes New Researcher to the Team – Georgina Inwood, Table Under a Tree

Business Bites is a new podcast series developed collaboratively with Northern Rivers Food and Southern Cross University. The podcasts focus on business topics that will assist our food and beverage industry community and feature local ‘talent’ from both SCU and the NRF food & beverage industry community. We like to think of it as the yin and yang of business know-how…the practical and the theoretical in balance.

So far four podcasts have been recorded and plans are to complete a series of ten podcasts by October this year. Behind the scenes, there is a super talented team working hard. Georgina Inwood from Table Under a Tree has recently been appointed Researcher / Coordinator and she works with legendary Journalist Angela Catterns (ABC North Coast) to put together each podcast episode at the SCU recording studio.

Many in the industry will know Georgina who heads up business Table Under a Tree, based in Rosebank. Georgina is an experienced communications professional, gifted in helping producers share their stories, and has great networks with our local food and beverage producers in this region, so she is a natural fit for this project. NRF are very pleased to welcome Georgina to the team.

Georgina and Angela are supported by an advisory team with representatives from both organisations including: Chair Yasmin Lawrence (Y People), Pam Brook (Brookfarm), Julia Foyster (Tweed Real Foods), Ryan McCann (Lion & Lamb), David Noble, Rhianna Poole and Jemma Neyland (SCU) and Anne Briggs (NRF).

The podcast series is planned for launch late August.
