Connect, Engage & Grow

Northern Rivers Food (NRF) is a not for profit member based food group. It was established by people in the food industry from the “paddock to the plate” to support the food industry in the Northern Rivers. We run regular get togethers, workshops, networking events, information seminars & events which helps support & grow our local food industry. We help promote our members, their brands and products by sharing their stories to the local food industry & to the foodie community. Be part of the action.

What’s On

Our Northern Rivers Food Industry Events are organised by our wonderful teams of member volunteers. These include the: NRF Events Committee, Grower Group and Harvest Food Festival Committee and Sustainability Group, who each organise different events held throughout the year, with a variety of super interesting topics, aimed at our local food industry and foodies alike. Most of our industry events are open to members & non-members (although we do offer some member only get togethers). If you want to hear what’s coming up subscribe to our e-newsletter below.

Our Teams

We love our NRF volunteers! In fact we couldn’t exist without them…they are the backbone of our association. NRF have several groups or teams including: an events committee, harvest food festival committee, grower group, marketing group, sustainability group and a new health & wellness group. These groups get together informally every 4 – 6 weeks over a coffee or breakfast to plan our events, shape our festivals, share resources and to engage with like-minded food industry souls! If you would like to join one of our groups contact us now.

Become a member

Becoming a member of NRF is a great way to connect with others in the local food industry. NRF have a great network of local food industry people from gate to plate –chefs, food service people, food manufacturers, growers & producers, agri-tourism operators, dietitians, nutritionists & wellness people, food marketers, legal & financial people and everything in between! It’s a terrific network of people who work together to grow our local food industry. We have different membership levels for our local food industry.
