Lynne Tietzel has worked with key Australian artisan producers supplying Sydney’s high end chefs and retailers for over 25 years.
In her Coorabell home she will take you through a guided tasting of her handpicked raw and rare Australian benchmark cheeses, sharing stories of artisan producers, their challenges and successes.
Kat Harvey, Chef and apprentice cheesemaker with Nimbin Valley Dairy will introduce the session with a workshop on the fundamentals of cheese making, demonstrating- acidification, renneting and the hooping of fresh cheese.
To complete the tasting we will feature a raw cheese prepared at the firepit by Kat and guests will take home a rare find from a local producer to share with others.
Price includes all of the above PLUS 2 glasses of wine or sparkling water. Additional drinks (wine and water) will be available for purchase.
