Celebrating BIG for NRF’s 10 + Years!!
To celebrate our NRF ten-year milestone (which was actually last October, but hey let’s not go there…), Chef Ally from Frida’s Field stepped up to the challenge to showcase a 10 course degustation feast, which paid homage to a decade of local food trends in our region and honoured our local producers. Despite rolling local power outages early in the evening, the unflappable crew at Frida’s Field, powered only by phone light, continued to plate up and serve a feast without missing a step.
The mood was jovial and celebratory buoyed on by MC Jeremy Burn from Bay Grocer and supported by NRF Chair Mark Napper. Pam Brook, Founding NRF Chair introduced our special ‘movie’ with a nod to our past, our founding members and looked to what the future may hold for our region’s local food & beverage industry.
Thank you all for coming along, celebrating and making history with us all. Thank you to Chef Ally, Moira and the talented crew at Frida’s Field for hosting our event and also to all our sponsors: Australian Macadamia Society, Casino Food Coop, Bangalow Sweet Pork, Shoobridge Transport, Hemp Foods Australia and Winding Road Distillery and to our Partners at Destination NSW.
We definitely have something pretty special with NRF and I’m so pleased that you could join in the festivities! Here’s to more ahead 🙂

Executive Officer NRF
