The Northern Rivers Food Harvest Food Trail ran last weekend, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd May 2021. The event comprised 24 food and beverage venues, the involvement of more than 33 local businesses and hundreds of attendees. Patronage was strong across all areas with all ticketed events selling out prior to the weekend and free, non-ticketed events enjoying a steady stream of visitors across their scheduled hours. The Northern Rivers Food Harvest Food Trail, to be held on the weekend of May 1-2 2021, is guaranteed to be a very Northern Rivers experience, reflecting on and celebrating the distinctive provenance of our region’s food. The Trail will offer lots of wonderful eating and drinking experiences, jammed-packed with our most-acclaimed restaurants, producers, farmers and growers. Rebecca Barnes heads up Playing with Fire Native Foods, a local Northern Rivers NSW company that is working hard to promote the virtues of our amazing Australian native food industry.
