NRF Harvest Food Trail 2021 and that’s a wrap!

The Northern Rivers Food Harvest Food Trail ran last weekend, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd May 2021. The event comprised 24 food and beverage venues, the involvement of more than 33 local businesses and hundreds of attendees. Northern Rivers Food Harvest Food Trail will return in 2021!

The Northern Rivers Food Harvest Food Trail, to be held on the weekend of May 1-2 2021, is guaranteed to be a very Northern Rivers experience, reflecting on and celebrating the distinctive provenance of our region’s food. The Trail will offer lots of wonderful eating and drinking experiences, jammed-packed with our most-acclaimed restaurants, producers, farmers and growers. Member Stories: Rebecca Barnes, Playing with Fire Native Foods

Rebecca Barnes heads up Playing with Fire Native Foods, a local Northern Rivers NSW company that is working hard to promote the virtues of our amazing Australian native food industry.   She hasn’t always worked in the food industry – originally, she worked in the insurance industry but was looking for a career change that was a little more family friendly.
